1. Introduction
Digital Optimization, LLC (“Digital Optimization,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates MCPPeering.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain, disclose, and protect information when you visit this website, use its interactive demonstration, pilot brief builder or RFP planning resources, or communicate with us about MCPPeering (collectively, the “Services”).
MCPPeering currently presents a proposed supplier order visibility pilot and a demonstration using fictional data. It does not currently connect to live supplier systems, provide user accounts, or transmit information to AI assistants. Live customer or supplier data processing will require a separate written engagement and applicable data-handling terms before it begins.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect and Information Kept on Your Device
2.1 Information you provide to us
If you contact us by email or otherwise intentionally send us information, we may receive your name, business contact details, organization, correspondence, support requests, feedback, and any materials you choose to provide. In this Policy, “Customer Content” means information or materials you intentionally provide to Digital Optimization; it does not include entries kept only in your browser by the demonstration or brief builder.
The current website has no account registration, payment collection, file upload, or form that submits entries to a server. Creating a pilot or RFP scoping brief does not send an inquiry, submit an RFP or bid, book a meeting, or establish an engagement.
2.2 Hosting and connection information
We use Vercel to host the website. Requests to load the website may generate technical access and security information processed by the hosting provider, such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or system configuration, requested pages, timestamps, and request or error details. This information supports delivery of the website, traffic management, and security. Vercel describes its handling of information in its Privacy Notice.
2.3 Cookies and local browser storage
The current MCPPeering site code does not set application cookies or use analytics pixels or analytics scripts. The demonstration uses your browser’s local storage to remember demo cases, notes and other free-text entries, supplier setup records, and connection settings under the key mcppeering-demo-v1. These entries stay in that browser and are not sent by the demonstration to Digital Optimization, suppliers, or an AI platform.
Local storage can remain after you close the page. Use Reset demo to replace saved demo entries with the default sample state. To remove the storage key itself, clear MCPPeering site data in your browser. If browser storage is unavailable, changes may last only for the current page session. Use fictional information when exploring, especially on a shared device.
The pilot and RFP scoping brief builders hold entries in the page’s browser memory and can create text files for you to download. They do not submit those entries to us or save them in the demo’s local storage. Use only nonconfidential planning information in the RFP builder; the site has no secure document-submission service. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. Your browser’s own form-history or autofill settings are separate from the site’s behavior.
2.4 Information from third parties
We may receive information from your organization when it contacts us about MCPPeering and from providers that host, secure, or support the website. The current demonstration does not use OAuth, live ERP connections, supplier portals, or third-party AI integrations to obtain information.
3. How We Use Information
We use information we receive for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and secure the website and respond to support requests;
- To communicate with you about MCPPeering, understand a proposed workflow, and discuss the scope of a possible engagement;
- To test and improve the website using feedback and information intentionally provided to us;
- To communicate service announcements, security notices, and, where permitted, marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service; and
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Digital Optimization and others.
This website does not use locally entered demo, pilot brief, or RFP scoping content to train models or run live AI integrations. Any processing of live customer or supplier information for a future engagement will be addressed in the applicable written agreement.
4. Retention
We retain communications and other information actually provided to us for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, and meeting legal or dispute-resolution requirements, unless an applicable written agreement provides otherwise. Hosting access and security information is subject to the hosting provider’s applicable retention practices.
Where required by applicable law or a governing agreement, we will delete or return identified information upon verified written request, subject to permitted retention for legal, regulatory, recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes and ordinary archival or backup copies pending their scheduled removal.
We cannot remove entries kept only on your device through an email request. You control demo storage and downloaded briefs as described in Section 2.3. This Policy does not establish a retention schedule or data license for any future production pilot; those matters will be addressed before live data processing begins.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
Rights in information belonging to your employer or organization may need to be exercised through that organization. Business records retained under Section 4 may be exempt from deletion to the extent permitted by law. Browser controls and the demo’s reset function let you manage locally stored demo information as described in Section 2.3.
7. Security
We use HTTPS for the public website and take reasonable steps appropriate to the information we receive to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, browser profile, and downloaded files. Do not enter credentials, confidential supplier records, or sensitive personal information in the public demonstration.
8. International Users
Digital Optimization operates from the United States. Information sent to us or processed by our hosting and service providers may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where those providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms apply to personal data originating in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, or other regulated jurisdictions.
9. Children
The Services are business tools intended for users eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
